Director of Equity, Belonging & Inclusion
As a member of the Friends' Central senior administrative team, Erica oversees equity, diversity, and inclusion efforts school-wide. Erica comes to FCS from Greene Street Friends School, where she served in a number of roles since 2012, including Dean of the Lower School, Learning Specialist, and Diversity Clerk. Erica is a nationally recognized expert in the field of diversity and inclusion. She has published widely and is frequently asked to present at national and local conferences. Before joining the Greene Street Friends community, Erica was Dean of Students at Friends School in Detroit. Erica holds an MS in Educational Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, an MA degree from Marygrove College, and a BS degree from Lincoln University.
Lower School Diversity Clerk
Tanya Muse '02 has been committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion at Friends' Central for the last 10+ years. In the classroom, she created a social justice curriculum to use in N-5th Grade classrooms. 她获得了奖学金，并发表了关于有色人种校友和他们在私立学校的故事的研究报告. Tanya has participated in numerous professional development days around DEI work, including the NAIS People of Color Conference (POCC) which she has attended for over 13 years.

Jacob Fogel '07 says that the importance of DEI work was impressed upon him as a student at FCS.
